Established in 2015, The Manchester Discord started out as a small community for making new local friends and drinking buddies.nnAfter officially associating with the /r/Manchester subreddit and being renamed to Reddit Manchester, it quickly gained traction, ballooning out to over 5,000 users, became Partnered with Discord, and became the largest local community Discord in the UK.nnRenamed once more to Manchester Discord to match our ambitions to become *the* official Discord for the city of Manchester, we host regular in person meetups – as many as 10 a month! – and also local gaming groups, news feeds, debates, local art and photography, a marketplace, and help and advice for locals and visitors/tourists alike.
