We dedicated ourselves in researching the network protocol of now-considered Retro online games that use their own implementations by different game studios from the early 2000s. Our primary focus is on the platform PlayStation by Sony whose PS2, PSP, and PS3 era retro games are no longer operational online, in Game Preservation this is seen as reverse engineering what it once was in another form. We provide open-source software for these restorations allowing others to get hands-on like we have in the past few years!
