Originally an acronym for Downtown Chicago, DTC has grown to encompass a much wider locale spanning from Wheeling to Woodlawn. Today, we like to think of DTC as a fluid name that represents each and every one of us. Whether we’re the Dedicated, Dauntless, or Dapper Trainers of Chicagoland, DTC is our home base.
We strive to create a kind, fun, and educated community around the game that captured our hearts and our collective battery life. And we’re proud of all we have accomplished over the years—Hosting toy and food drives, volunteering throughout our neighborhoods, creating clever scavenger hunts, and raffling out giveaways on our anniversaries. We’re happy to work alongside many other Pokémon GO communities from Chicagoland and from around the world, hosting PVP events and welcoming trainers to GO Fests when they took place in our parks.
When you join DTC, you’ll be asked to accept the server’s rules, assign yourself a team, and add any other local roles or separate interests you may have. We look forward to meeting you, trainers!
