Our community is born out of a mutual love of The Lord of the Rings franchise. Fans of said franchise will find great comfort and laughs here. More specifically our interests lie with a LOTR video game released in 2006 known as The Battle for Middle Earth 2 so fans of video games will also find interest here. We pride ourselves on nurturing a pleasant and welcoming environment but also one that allows people to freely express themselves and not feel so constrained. As a result we have minimal rules but they are still strongly enforced so prospective members should do well to familiarise themselves with these. We have channels for general discussion, a dedicated meme channel, as well as channels for self promotion and a spoiler chat to discuss the latest video games, shows, and movies. This discord is very lively with multiple threads and/or discussions going on and voice chats are active most of the time as well for the socialising types. Generally speaking if you are a fan of anything nerdy you will be welcome here and will probably make a new friend of two.
