Pogo512 is intended to serve as a hub for finding other Austin and Central Texas Pokémon GO players. You join this huge server and eventually find your way to a smaller, more local, and more meaningful friend group. The shared interest is supposed to help with that.
The server was founded as the Austin Mapping server, but now is continued by old Pokémon-nostalgic millennials that discovered that the real Terms-of-Service Violations were the friends we made along the way.
