The Student Gaming Association is an umbrella for gaming clubs to blossom under the Buffalo Esports office in Student Life. Students interested in making new friends, honing their skills in a competitive setting, or just finding people to play with are more than welcome to partake in a variety of organized activities and events, including game nights, competitive recruitment drives, coaching opportunities, watch parties, tournaments, and much more! Students may contact our organization to join events for a particular game or start a new one if no club exists!
Members who prove their skills can join teams to compete in intercollegiate events. Our university already has a storied history of high-level competition in various esports titles, the growth and development of our teams, players, and volunteers is paramount to this organization’s success, both in-game and in the classroom. As Esports grows, the support of fans and the performance of our players will pave the path forward for video games as a form of entertainment, aiding future generations of students to come!
