W3D Hub is a non-profit team of developers that focus on further development of Command & Conquer Renegade’s W3D Game Engine. Our team is formed of a mix of games industry professionals and hobbyists with the shared goal of creating new experiences utilising the W3D Engine and developing the technology further.
C&C Renegade is a first-and-third-person shooter released in 2002 by Westwood Studios. The special thing about C&C Renegade is its unique multiplayer mode, C&C Mode. Two teams face off with the goal of destroying the enemy base using familiar infantry and vehicles from the original Command & Conquer RTS game. Due to the uniqueness of the multiplayer mode on top of the game itself being fairly easy to mod, the community has remained dedicated to supporting Renegade with patches and mod content over the many years since its initial release.
