Hi, I’m yam. After some of my followers on TikTok asked to create a discord server for them to hangout in, I thought that it would be a good opportunity to crate a space for people to learn new things, interact with each other, express themselves and share their interests. My interests range from mathematics and philosophy to spirituality and religion, so those are the major themes of this server. However this server isn’t for me, so I’ve tried to include as many interests as possible, including psychology, technology, biology, education, and much more. I’ve also tried to assemble a team of moderators that are proficient in some of these subjects. Our mods try to keep a balance between being able to talk about anything you want, controversial subjects included, while also ensuring that it’s a safe place for sensitive people, especially LGBT or neurodivergent members. This is done by having dedicated channels for whatever your interests are, and ensuring that our rules are fair. If you’re here for academic subjects, there’s a category of channels for that. If you’re here for learning about spirituality, there’s category of channels for that. With this wide range of subjects, you can imagine that there’s a wide range of beliefs in this server. It can be pretty chaotic at times, but if you like that sort of thing, you’ll enjoy it. The last thing I want is an echo-chamber. Even our mods disagree sometimes. But ultimately, I want this server to include anyone from every walk of life to attempt to coexist and learn from one another.
