You are at the top of the mountain.
No tutorial is going to save you now.
You point the skis downhill, hit the snow, and immediately discover that going fast is easy. Staying fast while not turning yourself into a human snowball is the difficult part. SKI is a Roblox game built around that simple idea, but the further you get into it, the more it starts feeling like a time trial where every tiny mistake matters. The game itself describes the experience as hardcore and fast-paced: find the fastest line, launch huge jumps, land tricks, and try to reach the bottom without throwing away your run.
And there is a beautiful moment when you finally stop fighting the controls.
Your turns become smoother. You stop braking every five seconds. You start looking at the mountain differently — not as a collection of obstacles, but as a route. That gap looks jumpable. That corner can probably be taken faster. What happens if I stay on this line?
Then you crash.

Sometimes the goal is simply to beat your previous run. Then somebody else posts a faster time and suddenly you are back at the top of the mountain thinking, fine, one more attempt.
Private servers add another interesting option. Their owner controls can change the course length and difficulty, making them useful for players who want to set up their own kind of session rather than simply jumping into a standard run.
So the Discord server around SKI is not just somewhere to talk about a Roblox game.
It is the place where the mountain becomes a competition.
Post the run. Challenge somebody. Compare routes. Show the trick you finally landed. Complain about the corner that keeps destroying your time. Then load back into Roblox and try it again.
Because eventually, you are going to make it to the bottom.
And when you do, you are immediately going to wonder how much faster you could have gone.
