Finding four people online isn’t the same as finding four people you actually want to play with. Maybe you’re looking for teammates who take ranked seriously, need someone to fill the last slot in your squad, or just want a regular group that won’t disappear after one match. Teamplay.gg is built around that problem: instead of scrolling through random messages, you can search for players by game, platform, language, skill level, and play style.
The platform covers a wide selection of multiplayer games, including Valorant, Fortnite, Counter-Strike 2, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, and many others. Players publish Looking for Group (LFG) posts describing who they need and what they want to play. You can respond to an existing post or create your own, either to start a session immediately or arrange a game for later. Teamplay is free to use for finding teammates, messaging, and voice chat.
The official Teamplay.gg Discord adds a social layer to the matchmaking process. Choose roles for your preferred games to access the relevant channels, then enable notifications for new LFG posts in those games. That way, you can hear when someone needs another player without getting pinged for every game on the server. The community is also a place to meet regular teammates, discuss games, and keep up with the platform.
There’s a useful shortcut for people who already run their gaming life through Discord: the Teamplay bot lets server members create LFG posts, discover open requests, and join sessions without leaving Discord. On the website, teams can use built-in voice chat or choose Discord or in-game voice instead. The idea is to make finding a squad less of a chore — and make it easier to turn a good random teammate into someone you play with again.
