MM2 of The Locust turns the familiar Murder Mystery 2 setup into something much more physical. Instead of trying to identify a killer from a crowd, players are thrown into dark maps while the Locust actively hunts them down. Survivors have to keep moving, collect Keys, find places to disappear, and decide when it is safer to stop running. That makes the game a natural fit for a Discord community, because much of the experience comes from comparing what happened during each chaotic round.

The official Discord gives players a place to follow what is happening around this still-developing Roblox experience. MM2 of The Locust is in Pre-Alpha, so changes to maps, mechanics, equipment, and balance can matter from one update to the next. For players who are invested in the game rather than simply dropping in for a few rounds, keeping up with those changes becomes part of the experience.

There is also plenty to talk about between matches. Keys are scattered around the Locust’s nest, while survivors have to weigh the reward of searching for them against the danger of being caught in the open. The game also gives players different ways to deal with a chase, including hiding and survivor equipment such as the camera and taser. A failed escape can be just as useful to discuss as a successful one: someone may have found a safer route, timed an escape differently, or discovered a better way to handle a particular situation.

For players who enjoy the monster side, the community offers a different perspective on the same rounds. Understanding where survivors tend to hide and how they react under pressure changes the way the Locust is played. That survivor-versus-hunter dynamic gives conversations about MM2 of The Locust more substance than the usual game chat, since players are constantly comparing strategies from opposite sides of the match.

MM2 of The Locust is still taking shape, which makes its Discord particularly relevant to people following the game closely. New players can use it to find others who are already familiar with the nest, while regulars have a place to trade stories about close escapes, failed hunts, and whatever changes arrive with the next stage of development.
