You can be standing in the same castle as your friend and still have no idea what they’re looking at. That’s the idea behind We Were Here, a series of first-person co-op puzzle adventures from Total Mayhem Games. Players are often separated, with different clues and information on each side. The only way forward is to describe what you see, listen carefully, and work out the solution together.
The We Were Here Series Discord is the official community for the franchise. It’s a place to connect with other fans, discuss the games, share discoveries, and keep up with announcements from the developers. If your usual co-op partner isn’t available, the community is also a natural place to look for someone willing to tackle the puzzles with you.
Across We Were Here, We Were Here Too, We Were Here Together, We Were Here Forever, and We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip, the challenges change, but communication remains at the heart of the experience. One player might be reading strange symbols while the other searches for a matching mechanism. Neither has the complete answer alone, and vague explanations can leave both players stuck.
The series has plenty to discuss after a playthrough, too: tricky puzzle solutions, memorable moments in Castle Rock, story theories, and the different ways two players can approach the same challenge. With We Were Here Tomorrow joining the lineup in October 2026, there is another adventure for the community to talk about. Whether you’re searching for a co-op partner or comparing notes after a difficult puzzle, the official Discord brings the series’ players together.
